Fettercairn is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. Seeking a purer expression of their spirit, the whisky makers at Fettercairn found pouring water down the still cooled the copper still, ensuring only the lightest vapours rise for collection, providing a distinctive colouring to the copper stills. The distillery carries the Unicorn as its emblem, the national animal of Scotland.
